Mission Statement: The purpose of the Seymour Community School District is to provide each
student an opportunity to achieve his or her highest academic and social potential by providing access to high quality instruction, programs, activities and facilities.
The home Baseball/Softball game scheduled for Tuesday, May 22nd at Seymour will now be played in Moravia instead of Seymour. Boys will play at 6:00pm, followed by the girls. The game scheduled for June 12th with Moravia will now be played at Seymour instead of Moravia.
Congratulations to Brody Eldridge for making it to State in long jump!!!! Brody jumped his personal best at District Competition on May 10th, at Martensdale- St. Mary’s, with a jump of 21 feet 6.5 inches! Brody will compete at the state level on Thursday, May 17, at 2pm at Drake Stadium!

Caleb Housh presents Senior Brody Eldridge a certificate, sweatshirt and $50 check for being selected as the Junior/Senior High School Student of the Month for May. Lockridge, Inc. sponsors the award for a deserving student. Brody's parents are Doug and Becky Eldridge of Seymour. |
Zoe Joiner, second grader at Seymour Elementary, was chosen as Student of the Month for May. Her parents are Zeb and Danielle Joiner of Plano. Zoe will receive a certificate and $50 check from Cicco Construction ofCenterville, who sponsors the monthly award. Making the presentation is Mr. Bruce Lange, Elementary Principal. |
